Opening of New TV Station, www.GammaKnife.tv
We are starting a Web Station for Gamma Knife Therapy at
www.GammaKnife.tv

We want to try to help educate the Neurosurgical Community about the Standards of Care in Gamma Knife in the toolbox of the Neurosurgeon; the latest indications, the latest studies and interactions with Neurosurgeons that work in this area of expertise. We hope to do
this by establishing channels all over the world, in an interactive community, here.
Gamma knife radiosurgery is now a worldwide accepted treatment modality for variety of intracranial pathologies. The indications range from vascular pathologies, neuro-oncology to complicated functional ailments. Conceptualized and developed by Prof. Lars Leksell, GKRS has a rich literature in support of its efficacy, precision, and long-term safety profile.
NeurosurgicalTV is a popular platform for knowledge dissemination, discussion and content sharing among neurosurgeons both aspiring, under training, and experts. However, there is a wide disparity in the knowledge base and practice pattern for stereotactic radiosurgery throughout the world.
We present our new endeavor GammaknifeTV to fill this gap for better understanding of the role and limitations of Gamma knife radiosurgery among the available cafeteria choices.
Mission Statement
The mission of GammaknifeTV is to further highlight the role of Gamma knife radiosurgery in the management of intracranial ailments. With this interactive platform, we aim to understand the current level of evidence, and the changing paradigm in the field of neurosurgery.
